Do your products require council approval?
Council approval requirements vary depending on your local council, pergola or patio size, height, and location on your property.
In many cases, DIY pergolas & patios do not require approval if they meet local exempt development criteria.
Example Pergola (slatted roof) - Under 20m2, height 2.4m, 3m from front boundary.
Example Patio (solid roof) - Under 10m2, freestanding, height 2.4m, 3m from front boundary.
We recommend checking with your local council before installation.
Will I receive engineering or installation drawings?
Yes. All pergola kits include detailed installation instructions and drawings to guide you through the build process step by step.
Engineering documentation can be supplied where required for council or site-specific approvals.
Do you install the products?
No - We supply DIY products only.
Our kits are designed for confident DIYers and builders, allowing you to save thousands by installing yourself or using a local tradesperson of your choice.

Are your pergola & patio kits cyclone rated?
Our pergola kits are engineered to meet Australian Standards and designed for Australian conditions.
Cyclone ratings depend on location, wind region, installation method, and footing design.
If you are in a cyclone-prone area, please contact us so we can confirm suitability or provide engineering options.
What is the gap size between the slats on the structures?
Standard slat spacing is approximately 20–25mm, depending on the model.
This spacing allows airflow while still providing effective shade.
What is the width of the slats?
Slats are typically 100mm wide, depending on the pergola style selected.
What is the distance between the posts (centre to centre)?
Post spacing varies by kit size and design.
Typical centre-to-centre distances range from 2500 to 3000mm.

What is the angle of the cantilever kits?
The cantilever pergola kits features a fixed roof angle of approximately 5 degrees, designed for effective water runoff while maintaining a clean, modern appearance.
Will you ship my pergola to my house?
No we offer Australia-wide delivery direct to your local depot.
You will then need to pickup the item yourself from the depot or use an independent courier to collect and deliver.
Yes Perth metro customers will receive delivery direct to their front verge.
1 or 2 packages will be delivered using a large truck & hiab crane please note the truck will NOT drive on grass or driveways. All deliveries are placed on the front verge next to the properties front kerb.
Delivery timeframes typically range from 14 - 70 business days, depending on location.
Can I customise my pergola kit?
Yes. Many of our pergola kits can be customised in size, layout, and finish.

Can you make my pergola kit smaller?
Yes. We can adjust kit dimensions to suit your space.
Custom sizing must be confirmed prior to ordering.
Can we bolt the posts to an existing concrete slab?
Yes. Base plates are available for certain models and applications.
Suitability depends on surface type and engineering requirements — please contact us to confirm.
Minimum 100mm concrete.
Can I purchase extra slats to reduce the gaps in my kit?
Yes. Additional slats can be purchased to increase shade coverage.
Example (width 3000mm slat 100mm desired gap 10mm)
Equals (width 3000 divide slat + gap = 110mm equals 27 slats)
Can I order just the frame on its own?
Yes. Frame-only kits are available on selected models.

Can I order an extra beam or post with my pergola kit?
Yes. Additional beams, posts, and components can be added to your order.
Can I place my order over the phone?
Yes. You can place your order over the phone with one of our team members Monday to Friday 10am - 4pm
What is the warranty period?
All pergola kits come with a manufacturer’s warranty covering structural components.
